Fire Knife Dancers at Chiefs Luau at Wet n Wild

6 Ziplines at Coral Crater Adventure Park

Start your experience with the adventurous part. At Coral Crater, professional guides take you down six ziplines ranging between 300 and 900 feet in length. As you soar down these lines, you can reach speeds up to 35 mph! Flying high above the lush green jungle canopy, you get a completely new perspective and understanding of the beauty that is Hawaii.

This two hour adrenaline-loaded experience is safe for you and your family. Featuring state-of-the-art brakes and the most modern equipment, there’s no training required to ride these ziplines. Only moderate fitness is needed to walk uphill to the start of the line. Be sure to wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes!

After the wild experience of the zipline, you’re invited to join us for a delicious and entertaining evening. Unwind from your high-flying adventure with a mai tai before choosing from among the Polynesian craft lessons. Your host Chief Sielu Avea and his family teach you how to make a traditional palm leaf headband and throw a spear like a native hunter. You can even get a (temporary) tattoo of a traditional Polynesian design.

After learning some new skills, the rich buffet is served. This luau offers a real Hawaiian treat to its guests: a whole pig cooked in a traditional underground oven called an imu. The pig is lowered into a pit in the ground lined with hot lava stones. Covered with leaves , the pig is covered with more lava rocks to cook for several hours. Witness the island delicacy being dug out and served fresh. On the buffet you’ll also find a wide variety of local produce, lomi-lomi salmon, poi, and a bounty of flavors both familiar and exotic.

The Chief himself is a world-champion fire knife dancer, which gives you a clue about the show that comes after the meal. With your appetite satisfied, you can sit back and enjoy the world class show of Polynesian dance and music, with a highlight being the heart-stopping fire knife dance.

Set in the most beautiful natural surroundings just a short drive outside Honolulu, the ziplines at Coral Crater and the Chief’s Luau make a great combination, and an experience you’ll never forget!

Details about the Royal Experience:

The royal seating is directly in front of the stage, so you can see the performers up close. You’ll be greeted with fresh flower leis and a refreshing mai tai. You’ll also be in the first section to enjoy the buffet, with an additional three adult beverages included. Taste the succulent meat straight from the ‘imu and sample Polynesian specialties including poi and lomi-lomi salmon. You and your guests also receive a special souvenir gift to take home, and children up to four years can come along free of charge.

The Chief’s Luau, a truly traditional Hawaiian feast, you’ll experience a tropical party like no other, including thrilling Polynesian performances and an ‘ono (delicious) Hawaiian-style buffet.

Finish the night off with a wonderful couples dance under the stars.
