Description
Kick up some dirt and take in the stunning views of the rugged Hamakua Coast!
Some of the best views on the Big Island are available only to those who travel down the dirt roads less travelled. This ATV tour follows a 5.5-mile course that features coastal views, a private waterfall that you can swim in, plenty of great photo opportunities, and lush tropical scenery all along the way.
Choose between our automatic, 4x4 ATVs (1-seat) or our Side x Side UTVs (2 & 4 seat). Allow your professional guide to lead you along the course as you enjoy the adrenaline rush, fresh air, and some of the most picturesque locations you’ll find in Hawaii.
Near the end of the course, you'll stop at a scenic waterfall to an extended break. Feel free to take a dip in the pond to cool off, or just take advantage of the perfect photo opportunity and enjoy the complimentary snacks.
The tour ends at “The Pit” where you and your crew, and perhaps some new friends from the tour, can enjoy a fun group ride around the mound before returning to homebase. If you’re looking for a great way to get your adrenaline pumping, you’ve found the right tour!

Special Considerations
All drivers must have a valid driver’s license and present it at check-in. Permitted drivers are not licensed drivers.
Passengers 4-11 years old must ride with parent/guardian in a side-by-side ATV.
Drivers under 18 must be accompanied by parents or guardian on tour and can only operate 1-seat ATVs.
Max weight for drivers: 350 lbs. Max weight for back seat passengers: 250 lbs.
Drivers/passengers must not have a history of neck or back injury. Drivers/passengers cannot be pregnant.
Must wear closed toe shoes, pants and shirt.
Pets are not allowed to accompany you.
Getting There
You'll see a steep concrete driveway with an overhead wooden sign reading "The Umauma Experience". Turn up the drive and the Visitor Center will be at the top on the right.
