The Deep Water Snorkel with Sharks tour meets daily in the town of Haleiwa, on Oahu's North Shore. Our tour takes out small groups starting early in the morning and continuing throughout the day. A resident shark expert leads each tour and a safety diver is in the water with guests at all times. The entire tour is only 2 hours long, including a safety briefing and sailing time.

Our guides are committed to safety, sustainability, and ocean conservation. We provide unforgettable marine experiences in a safe, respectful, and educational manner. We want all guests to leave their tours with a greater appreciation for our oceans. They believe that providing memorable ocean experiences is the best way to protect it.

Deep Water Snorkel with Sharks Tour Itinerary

Snorkelers swim on the surface near a boat with the Oahu coastline in the background.

Your cage less shark tour starts with a safety briefing at Haleiwa Harbor. Then you'll cruise miles away from shore to the diving destination. Our resident shark expert will describe all the sharks you may see later. There is also a chance you'll spot other wildlife (turtles, dolphins, and whales), along the way. Once you arrive at the ideal spot to start watching the schools of sharks you will join a safety diver in the water using a ladder attached to a swim platform. There is a safety rope secured to the boat you may also use and guests may wear a life jacket if they choose. Once in the water, crew members will assist you and ensure your comfort and safety.

Swimming with sharks in this area is safe and our  has a 100% safety record.

Guests swim with snorkel gear near the boat as a shark swims below.

Our guides encourage guests not to worry about documenting the experience. Instead, enjoy the moments in the deep blue Hawaiian water with the beautiful sea life. (Our photographers will document your dive for you for an extra fee).

During the boat ride back, the crew will chat with you about what you saw on your dive and answer any questions. The crew will also share some marine conservation information with passengers. By the end of this unforgettable experience, you may find a greater love and respect for the ocean. Our Deep Water Snorkel with Sharks guides are happy to discuss new ways to help save our oceans in our everyday lives during the trip back to the harbor.
