Description

The Diamond Head Luau in Waikiki is a foodie's dream!

Food stalls line the grounds at the Diamond Head Luau at the Waikiki Aquarium.

Diamond Head Luau has created a unique dining experience for its guests. They've partnered with local chefs to present the “Taste of Hawaii” culinary tasting tour.   Enjoy Hawaiian and Asian-inspired cuisine, prepared by eight of the area's finest restaurants and food vendors. Each signature dish is made from the freshest local ingredients and prepared onsite. Try them all if you like!

The new dining concept isn’t the only thing that sets this luau apart from other luau. Diamond Head Luau has a seating capacity of under 100 people. That’s tiny compared to most luaus on Oahu, which often serve several hundred guests a night. It's also one of the few luaus that are within walking distance of most Waikiki hotels.

Diamond Head Luau also has one of the freshest and liveliest luau shows around. Featuring a talented cast of local dancers, musicians, and performers. You’ll enjoy a night of live music, Polynesian dancing, and a thrilling fire knife finale.

This is a small, intimate luau that has everything you'd expect, minus the crowds and bland buffet food!

Getting There

The Diamond Head Luau located on the lawn at the Waikiki Aquarium, at 2777 Kalakaua Avenue. It is a short walk from most Waikiki hotels. If it is not walkable from your lodging, the luau’s shuttle service, taxis, or rideshares are also an option. If you drive yourself there, there is free and metered parking along Kalakaua Avenue near the aquarium, but finding an open spot at this time of day can be tricky. Give yourself extra time just in case you have trouble finding a space or you have to walk.
