If you're looking for the easiest and fastest way to join the famous Manta Ray Snorkel Kona, this is the tour for you! Located a few hundred yards away from the viewing site, Keauhou Bay Boat Ramp is where this adventure begins. You'll find Keauhou Bay South of Kailua-Kona town, near the Outrigger Resort where the Mantas gather every night, just offshore. Our tour sizes are small so you get a more personalized experience. The cruise to the viewing site is around 5 minutes in calm, protected water. If you tend to have seasickness or don't like traveling on boats in the open ocean, this tour is the perfect option. 
There are many tours available throughout the evening. The first tours of the night start at sunset and they sell out often. After our short ride to the viewing site, our guides will brief you on how to watch the Manta Rays while in the water. We ask that our guests have basic swimming skills and know the basics of snorkeling. Once in the water, you'll hang on to our custom-made light board and float on the surface without any effort. The lights attract plankton and the plankton are the Manta Ray's favorite food. They soar beneath you, filtering plankton while they do somersaults. Lights are set up on the ocean floor as well.
